About this work

Coupe or drinking bowl of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue and gold. The outer wall of the bowl is covered in gold with a gold decorative band on the rim against a blue background. The stem is in the form of a kneeling Amor with his quiver in biscuit. He kneels on a round plateau on a square, blue with gold pedestal, the walls of which are decorated with floral scrolls and stars against a blue background. The rim of the bowl is set in a metal mount.
