About this work

Square linen cloth with lace embroidery: reticella in open needlework technique. The cloth is divided into quarters by straight lines and then into eighths by diagonal lines. A star motif is formed with open and solid triangles around concentric circles. Along the edges of the linen weave, a decorative border is worked in drawn thread technique.
