About this work
Strip of natural-colored Italian bobbin lace. The repeating pattern consists alternately of a duck and a square. The motifs are made in linen stitch and they are connected to each other by a mesh ground, an eyelet mesh. The square is divided into eight areas by straight and diagonal lines made with cutouts. The top and bottom of the strip are finished straight, the bottom being provided with picots.
