About this work
Insert of natural-colored bobbin lace: Maltese lace. The repeating and symmetrical pattern consists of a row of linked rhomboid fields, formed by thin braids. In each field stands a flower with four petals made in form stitch, between two triangular motifs in linen stitch. The triangular fields above and below this row of diamonds show a halved version of this pattern. The top and bottom of the strip are finished straight.
