About this work
Jug of stoneware on a high foot with a globular belly and a narrow neck with a pinched spout. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck and foot. The front of the belly with a relief decoration in the form of a printed and applied mask, surrounded by four stylized leaves with small flower rosettes ending in a flower. On the shoulder and neck incised bands. A tin mount is attached to the handle; the lid is missing. Westerwald.
