About this work

The object is composed of the following parts: the bucket (cast and turned), the handle (cast and chased), the eye (cast). The round bucket (with center hole at the underside in the bottom) has a hollow round profiled hollow foot and a hollow round neck. In the vertically standing square attachments on the three-sided rim, the somewhat stretched round handle at the top is attached, in which two animal heads are pierced and at the top the eye is riveted. The bucket is decorated with a hollow round rib in the middle and with ring profiles on the foot and neck. The handle and the eye are replacements from a later period.
