About this work

The object consists of a round drip tray and a candle holder, which are chased and provided with engraved ornament, and a cast stem with a decoration of e.g. four standing figures and two heads in medallions and a lion's head. The stem has an eye to which the wick wick can be hung. The stem is riveted to the restored drip tray with red copper nails.
