Brass candlestick

The low profiled conical base has a raised rim at the top and serves as a drip pan. The round stem with three knobs and a screw thread tapers to a point, so that the upper part can be used as a candle pin. The stem is riveted in the base. On the stem, the two-armed turner is placed, which has an opening in the center too narrow for the stem, in which a screw thread is applied that does not match this stem. The turner forms one piece with the two almost cylindrical candleholders, in which openings are provided on the front and back in the wall. The turner, together with the holders, which show remarkably large casting flaws on the inside, is a nineteenth-century forgery.
