St John the Evangelist

He stands on a pedestal with the bent left leg forward, holding a book in the left hand and pressing the fingers of the right hand against his chest. His face shows deep grooves around the eyes and mouth, the curly hair stands away from the temples. Over a tunic with wide flaring sleeves hangs the ample cloak, which is tucked under the left arm. The cloak with a standing collar is open on the right side. Both feet emerge from under the cloak.
