Ink stand with horses, vases and flowers

Stoneware inkstand with an inkwell and two holders for the inkpot and sand shaker. Partially covered in cobalt blue. The front and back feature relief decoration of a printed and applied flower flanked by rearing horses and two-handled vases surrounded by a festoon. On the top surface, an incised, stylized flowering plant. At each corner, a modeled 'rivet'. Westerwald.
