About this work

Silver insignia consisting of a shaped shield surrounded by an oval ring with inscription. The shield bears a coat of arms with helmet, crest, and mantling. The heraldic figures are two post horns with a dog beneath them. The inscription reads: M x LAURENTIUS x TRIEST x RECEPTOR " " PRINC ORAN . COM x DE BUREN 1592. Possibly a messenger's box.
