From the collection of Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. Free to download, adapt and use — no permission needed.
About this work
The candlestick now consists of the following parts: the foot and the stem riveted into it, the two-armed turner and the associated drip pans. The screw to fasten the turner to the smooth part of the stem is missing. Also missing is one of the candle holders that belong on the turner, as well as the candle holder and drip pan that can be screwed into the top of the stem. The foot standing on three feet and the two-armed turner are executed in the rococo style. The lower part of the stem is twisted. The drip pans are provided with an upright rim at the top.
