About this work
The candlestick consists of the following cast and chased parts: the foot, stem and middle drip pan, cast as one piece; the two arms soldered to it, each composed of two arm sections, nodus and drip pan; and the three sturdy, unprofiled candle pricks at the base. The stem has two nodi and is decorated with fine grooved rings. The partially bulbous drip pans are similarly decorated.
