About this work

Stoneware jug (bearded man jug) on a foot ring with a pear-shaped body and wide neck. Spout missing; on the body the remains of the attachment of a long spout and on the neck a damage where the bridge was attached. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profile heads on the neck. Covered with a brown engobe. On the neck, continuing onto the shoulder, a bearded man. Cologne/Frechen.
