About this work

Candelabrum of wrought iron on three legs, which curl inward at the bottom. Above this, a leaf-shaped flat plate with a raised rim, riveted, serving as a drip pan. On this, the flat, openwork stem is screwed, decorated with several engravings. Three parts are brazed to the stem: at the top, the downward-bending handle and the candle holder; at the bottom, the spring, ending in the candle holder, and decorated with several openwork curls in the space between the spring and the stem. The height of the candle is adjustable via the spring.
