About this work
Oak pedestal, belonging to a bust of a man. The sides consist of two large volutes against which acanthus leaves enclose a cartouche with a spherical shield in a leaf motif. The coat of arms consists of two alternating crenellated, masonry cross-balks. On the pedestal a pen in which the base of the bust (BK-NM-4191) fits. NB: description taken from the catalogue.
