About this work
Jug of stoneware on a ring foot with a globular belly and narrow neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profile on the neck. On the belly in relief four times a printed and applied medallion; two large and two small. The small medallions are filled with a coat of arms and a portrait of a crowned man and face with the inscription 'EZECHIA'. The large medallions with a devil fighting a woman in a landscape and a scene of Aristotle being ridden by Phyllis like a horse; above it the inscription 'SALMON'. Siegburg.
