About this work
Chest of drawers decorated with marquetry of walnut and maple on a pine core, resting on a stand with six square conical legs. The front has three full-width drawers and two half-width drawers, decorated with curved fields with leafy scrolls, framed by laurel leaf borders. The side walls are decorated in a similar manner. Various marquetry fields are applied to the top. The stand, with a drawer, is entirely decorated with marquetry. Copper lock plates and handles.
