About this work
Oak cabinet with upper case, veneered with mahogany. The conical legs and corner posts, with fluted half-columns with copper bases and Corinthian capitals, are placed diagonally. The three drawers of the lower case feature gilded copper mounts in the form of vases with hanging garlands. These drawers and the two doors of the upper case feature rectangular and square panels outlined by bands with a herringbone pattern; on the doors a central oval shell motif. Scrolled lower rail with mounts.
