About this work
Stitch of long-haired silk velvet on a stiff cardboard (?) support, with an orange cockade. Double-sided folded brim, of which the left side is higher. Lining of brown satinette, leather headband. On the lower flap an orange cockade over which a silver loop of three double torades. Upon this a metal button with crowned W in relief. Address (gold stamp): Mode de Paris in a crowned border. Belongs to the gala costume of an assistant-resident, BK-1973-384.
