Jug with medallions, foliate scrolls and chip carving

Stoneware jug on a ring foot with a globular body and a wide neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck, belly, and foot. Covered with a brown engobe. The lower part of the belly is divided into compartments. On the shoulder, sgraffito decorative bands and a wider band with incised decoration. The neck features, in relief, a printed and applied band with portraits or masks in medallions, interrupted by leafy vines. Raeren.
