About this work
On a rectangular profiled base with truncated corners stands Anna, who holds the seated Mary with Child on her lap on her right arm. Anna wears a veil to which the child's cloth is pinned. Her mantle, hanging open at the front, is gathered under both arms, revealing her dress and part of the undergarment, as well as the sandals. Mary wears a mantle over her dress, fastened under the neck; the Child a shirt.
