About this work

Jug of stoneware on a foot ring with a globular body and narrow neck. Handle missing. Profiles on the neck. Partially covered with cobalt blue and a brown engobe. On the belly, in relief, three times a stamped and applied medallion with a stylized rosette of branches. The neck with a bearded man in relief; the beard continuing onto the shoulder. Frechen.
