About this work
Round silver wedding box, of which the lid and base consist of sawn-through wedding medals. On one side a representation of a young couple before an altar, upon which a burning heart with the border inscription: He who binds himself to God in marriage, always wins the Lord's blessing. On the other side a representation of the wedding at Cana with the border inscription: The Lord's power and goodness are spread out on this feast.
