About this work
Lady Asia seated on a throne in a triumphal chariot drawn by two dromedaries to the left. She holds a scepter in her right hand and a string of pearls in her left; a jewel box rests on her lap. Beside the throne, whose armrest is shaped like a lion's paw and which features an eagle on the backrest, stands a vase and an open sack from which (unidentifiable) contents spill. In the background, a landscape with a few buildings and a bridge over flowing water. The bottom of the relief is beveled into an elongated panel.
