About this work

Lady Europe seated on a throne in a triumphal chariot drawn by two horses to the left. She wears a crown, holds her right arm forward and a scepter in her left. An eagle appears on the front and back of the chariot. In the background, a landscape with a river and buildings. The bottom of the relief is beveled into an elongated panel.
