Baptism of Christ in the River Jordan

In the center, against the background of the Jordan, stands Christ with folded hands, knee-deep in the water. To the right, John kneels on the bank holding a shell with water over Christ's head; on the left bank, a kneeling and a standing angel, the latter pointing upward. In the background to the left, a forest, and to the right, a few trees before buildings; in the sky, the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove and God the Father appearing from the clouds. The bottom of the relief is beveled into an elongated panel.
