Purse consisting of four shield-shaped pieces of silver and gold brocade, featuring a diamond pattern of silver thread. At the intersections of the diamonds four green woven fields and within the diamonds woven ornaments: hearts crowned and pierced with arrows in pink floss silk alternating with stylized flower motifs in blue. In the middle of two panels woven in pink floss silk a monogram of most likely the interlaced letters 'V' and 'C' with a heart shape in the opening of the 'V'. Along the edges of the panels a passementerie of gold thread, which comes together at the bottom of the purse in a knot of gold thread. Along the opening a border of gold thread. Through the eyes edged with gold thread a twisted cord is threaded, to which two knotted tassels are also attached. The purse is lined with pink silk organza. Possibly a wedding purse, due to the hearts pierced with arrows?
