About this work
Chest of dark brown painted oak wood with iron mounts. The lid is curved. The mounts, which are pierced and chased, consist of corner pieces and bands laid crosswise over the furniture with two catches. On the sides iron handles. A shield between volute scrolls serves as a lock plate. Below painted the letters F.L. and the year 1750.
