About this work
Openwork lock plate of tinned iron. The underside begins with an inverted trefoil, transitioning into upward-pointing leaves and a calyx motif, in which the keyhole is placed with a projecting plate underneath. Above this, two S-scrolls surround a leaf with a round opening in the center. The upper side is crowned with a trefoil.
