About this work

Stoneware jug on a foot ring with a globular body and narrow neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profile heads on the neck. Covered with a brown engobe. In relief on the body three times a stamped and applied medallion with the crowned coat of arms of Amsterdam and the date '1603'. The neck with a bearded man in relief; the beard continuing onto the shoulder. Frechen.
