About this work

In the sheet-metal models for casting molds for hinges, two representations chased in rococo ornament are depicted: a kneeling woman before a king seated on a throne, and a priest standing before a woman seated on a dais. The backs are partially filled with pitch. Straight frames are soldered on the narrow sides. The four clasps are missing.
