About this work

Sugar bowl. Ribbed, with scalloped edges. The ribs are separated by vertical gold bands. The hollows are dark blue (Blue du Roi), the ribs white, decorated with foliage and plaited bands. The edges are gilded, with the gilding scalloped inward. Marked in underglaze blue. With corresponding lid (BK-NM-I-Z-B-2).
