About this work
Sugar pot with lid. Ribbed, with scalloped edges. The ribs are separated by vertical gold bands. The hollows are dark blue (Blue du Roi), the ribs white, decorated with foliage and braided bands. The edges are gilded, the gilding scalloped inward. Marked in underglaze blue.
