About this work

Purse of black and purple silk, executed in Egyptian plaiting (sprang). Along two sides runs a seam. The purse forms a rounded end at the bottom, where the black and purple threads, via a knot, come together in a tassel. Along the upper edge two double twisted cords are threaded. The purse is unlined.
