About this work

Hemispherical cup of painted porcelain. The cup has a lid and a rectangular handle. The cup is painted with a river landscape in a quatrefoil with a richly decorated border in gold and red. Rich ornamentation is painted along the border. The cup is marked. The cup was made after a Meissen model from around 1735.
