About this work

Milk jug of porcelain with a cylindrical body, triangular spout, and angular handle, painted on the glaze in sepia and gold. On the body, twice a medallion: one depicting a battle with the inscription 'INNEMEN VAN KATTENBURG, 1787' below, and the other a portrait with the inscription 'VALENTYN.'. A band with a leafy vine surrounds the medallions. Leafy vine on the handle. Marked on the underside with N-103.
