Gold coin. Obverse: between name designation portrait of the Elector to the right holding a sword in his right hand. Below, between the date, a composite coat of arms. Reverse: between name designation FRID III portrait of Elector Friedrich III to the right holding a sword in his right hand. Below, between the date 1517, a composite coat of arms. Inscription: SECVLVM LVTHERANVM. Struck to commemorate the Centenary of Lutheranism.
