About this work

Copper coin. Obverse: by two on decoration, below which pleated scroll, in which inscription, standing lions, with one claw held coat of arms of the EIC. Above the coat of arms a crest. The lions hold in the other claw an arrow, to which flag. Year at bottom. Reverse: scales, between which in Arabic letters inscription: Adil. At top value indication: half anna and at bottom year: 1249. Smooth edge.
