About this work

Silver coin. Obverse: between two tied branches an eagle standing on a cactus plant with spread wings, head to the right, holding a snake in its beak. Reverse: liberty cap from which rays emerge. In the legend denomination: 8R and mint mark: Zs [=Zacatecas] with date at the bottom left. Cabled edge.
