Substantial silver medal. Obverse: bust of Van Imhoff to the right with legend. Reverse: the VOC as a crowned woman on a throne, behind whom stand Justitia and the Dutch lion, offering a staff to Van Imhoff as a Roman field commander; in the background the waiting VOC ship HERSTELLER behind the harbor of Batavia, with legend and field text.
