Obverse: the city goddess of Leiden, with mural crown and oval coat of arms, and the Dutch Lion with hat and sword, trampling a Spanish coat of arms, military attributes, and the personification of evil, with legend and field inscription. Reverse: a veiled woman offering at a burning altar, with legend and field inscription.
