About this work

Tin medal with remains of silvering, obverse: a rooster being bitten to death by a mouse, with double legend and inscription in the margin, reverse: Pallas, pointing to a burning warship, directing her shield with the Gorgon's head toward the kneeling Louis XIV, with legend and inscription in the margin.
