About this work

Tin medal, obverse: crowned shield of Brielle, with a centaur as supporter on the right, on a sword with a liberty cap, on a base from which a text ribbon hangs, and next to the date 1 APR 1572, with double inscription; reverse: a watergeuz with sword and banner driving away Tyranny, depicted as a woman with sword and falling yoke, with inscription and rim text.
