Cast tin medal with suspension loop, obverse crowned coat of arms of Brielle, with a centaur as supporter on the right, on a sword with liberty cap, on a base with hanging text ribbon, and next to the date 1 APR 1572, with double legend, reverse a watergeuz with sword and banner driving away Tyranny, depicted as a woman with sword and falling yoke, with legend and edge text.
