About this work

Silver oval medal on a suspension loop. Obverse: standing in a rayed halo: crowned Mary with scepter in right hand and Jesus on arm; below: inscription. Reverse: Saint Martin turning to the left on horseback cuts a cloak with a sword to give a portion to a man standing next to him with a staff within legend; on the lower edge: date.
