About this work
Lead oval medal on a suspension loop. Obverse: image of Mary with folded hands standing in a chapel with columns, on a pedestal with an inscription; above: a floating angel with a banner in his hands within an inscription. Reverse: illuminated by an all-seeing eye in a radiant triangle, under which a veiled woman kneels before a bishop holding a child; on either side an altar boy within an inscription.
