About this work
Silver medal. Obverse: seated, helmeted woman with a hand cannon in the right hand and a cornucopia in the left hand from which medals fall, with to the left thereof the coat of arms of Delft. Inscription: SOCIETAS SCLOPETARIA (Society of the hand cannon). Reverse: winged Victory with palm branch in left hand, holds with the right hand a laurel wreath above an empty coat of arms, intended for the family coat of arms of the Captain of the Shooters, resting on two crossed hand cannons and vat with bullets. Inscription: DEXTERITATIS PRAEMIUM (reward of skill). Section: empty.
