About this work

Near the city of Gibeah-Elohim, Saul encounters a procession of prophets descending from the high place in ecstasy. They are preceded by musicians with flutes, trumpets, timpani, and harps. Under the influence of the music, Saul will become a different man. The print has a Latin inscription. Bottom right a reference to 1 Samuel 10. Bottom left numbered: 5.
