Design for the AB book by Karel Frederik Bombled. A tree divides the sheet into four compartments. The name of each season is written in the bottom left of each branch. Top left: Spring, with men and women with agricultural tools and a horse. Top right: Summer, with a well-to-do couple watching farmers mowing hay. Bottom left: Autumn, with the processing of the harvest, a fisherman, and a hunter. Bottom right: Winter, with two girls looking out the window at snowball fights.
